Whether it is year-round or once a year, there’s always an opportunity to Get Involved!

With every season, there is an opportunity to bring a smile to a child’s face. Join us for seasonal events happening throughout the year!

Unplug & Play

Unplug and Play was first started as an effort to serve children most affected by COVID-19. The goal was to have children unplug from their devices and engage their imaginations.

Once a year, during the Summer season, Giving Children Hope integrates Unplug & Play into our regular programming to fulfill Unplug & Play’s mission.

This program is made possible by Toys For Tots and Good360 and typically occurs between July-September.

Christmas Wishlist Sponsorships

The holiday season is the busiest time of year for volunteering at Giving Children Hope. About 1,500 families are adopted each year through our Sponsor-A-Wishlist Program, bringing hope and joy to more than 3,000 children with special holiday gifts.

Ways to Support

  • Sponsor a family or a school
  • Host a Toy Drive
  • Donation-based wrapping parties
  • Volunteer

Next Generation Leaders

With Monthly Saturday Service Events

In 2022, Giving Children Hope launched an initiative to bring together like-minded individuals who are about to enter or are in the early stages of their careers and looking to maximize their leadership potential through community service.

Next Generation Leaders have the following opportunities available to them:

  • Join a Board Committee and/or apply to join the Board of Directors
  • Provide leadership during monthly Saturday Community Service events
  • Exercise resume-building skills in areas of fundraising, marketing, and business development

With incredible Gift-In-Kind partners and community supporters, we can operate a warehouse and redistribution center that deploys tons of household goods to families in need.

Hours Next Gen Contribution in 2022

Thus far, members of Next Generation Leaders (ages 18-35) have contributed 54+ hours of community service towards the organization’s mission through monthly Saturday events.
